That means there is a magnet in a case or holster that turns off the screen to save battery power.

My expereince is that upgrading the software is referred to as "flashing" it... usually via OTA, but I've heard the term used for cabled SW upgrades as well...hope that helps.

HI Mark. I've been a BB user for 3 years now and am fristrated that the BB doesn't change time zones when I am traveling like my old Nokia phone did. Am I just missing a setting somewhere? Why wouldn't this be a standard feature? It totally messes me up on calndar entries.
