I have a Blackberry 7250 from Bell Mobility. I suffered a JVM 102 error recently and as a result had to wipe the device. I have downloaded Desktop Manager 4.7 and Handheld Software on my bb is 4.1.385. I have tried several times to down load pics from my PC (using Windows VIsta) via USB to my BB unsuccessfully. How can i transfer these files to my blackberry? Any assistance would be appreciated.

DM has a built in media manager you can use but the file size has limits. Also if this is a corporate BB there may be additional limits.
Try a small file as a test.

The 7250 has so little internal memory you can only download a couple super-low rez pics before bogging down the OS. You only have 4MB of RAM to play with and some of that is needed as free memory for the OS to function properly.

i tried to use the media manager in dm but the start button is greyed out and disabled. dm shows that my blackberry is connected. i downloaded dm with media manager. thanks for the replies. i will uninstall the blackberry manager and reinstall it again. the version is 4.7.

For the 7250 you might need an even older version of Desktop Manager.

As Rambo said that BB has limited memory. I wonder if DM knows this and restricts the file add. Interesting problem.

i have already downloaded 4.7 and the the other versions on the site are from 4.6. Should I download 4.6 for my bb for 7250?
