hi everyone,
i really love my new z10 but theres just one problem......
i bought a flip cover and everything works fine until i put it in the flip cover then all of a sudden the speaker gets muted, when i get a call it doesnt ring and when i speak they can hear me but i cant hear anyone, its like its been muted but the profile is still on normal, and no its not muted, been looking on the internet for answers but nothing yet. please advise if someone has some advise.

It sounds like the flip cover is the problem, not the Z10. Can you return the flip cover and get a different case? Maybe the mute button is accidentally being pressed when putting it in the case.

The speaker on the Z10 is on the bottom. cover it and you will hear less. It is the location sound comes from when the phone is in a holder. The ear speaker that is on the top front is inactive near the magnet in the case.
My best guess because you did not give the make of the case your using.

hi ive been using it without the flip cover the last 2 days and its still doing it, will have to send it in.
