Unhappy 7290 crashes when paired w/ VT510

Please Login to Remove!

When I pair my new 7290 with my Plantronics Voyager 510 headset the BB resets, crashes with caught exceptions and throws device error 411's. This doesn't happen in the middle of a call but only when I'm not in a call. I'll see one crash every half hour minimum. If I unpair the two the BB runs great.

Has anyone else seen this type of problem?
If so, what was the solution?

Thanks in advance for any help...

I may have solved my own problem. This morning I deleted the 510, shut off BT and then turned it back on again. The 510 attempted to pair when I turned BT back on. I accepted and the two have been paired without crashing my 7290 ever since.

Okay, forget what I said yesterday. The 7290 started resetting the minute I left the building last night. I had to disable Bluetooth entirely to get it to stop. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks...

The guys in IT loaned me a new JABRA head set last night. Unfortunately the7290 crashed the same way as it did when pair paired with my Plantronics Voyager 510. A replacement 7290 is in the mail.

Follow up: I received the replacement on Tuesday (1/16/2007). This one works! I never loose the connection to either the JABRA or the VT510 and the 7290 never crashes. So my problem was a bad 7290 after all.
