Default 7100g not AUTO connecting

Please Login to Remove!

It seems like my 7100g will not automatically find my motorola hf8100 car kit even when set to "trusted yes/on". I have to hit connect on the BB before starting the car, then it works, but that is a real inconvenience.

From what I've been reading here, everyone loves the Parrot or the IH1000.

1. Does anyone have the hf8100 working automatically?
2. Which HF works best through stereo speakers? Key to me is hearing the caller easily. I don't need much else as I only drive 1 hour each day.
3. Can someone recommend a nice case with a belt "CLIP" that swivels? I really dislike the holster that hangs on using pressure.
4.

The same is true with the Jabra SP500 speakerphone and my 7100g. I suspect it's a shortcoming with the Blackberry.

The proper steps to enable auto-connect BlueTooth is to turn on BT on your BlackBerry and then power on the BT on the car and it will auto connect

I may have missed the meaing of the original question but I though Ron was asking whether the 7100 would connect to his installed hands free unit upon entering the car without having to go into the BlueTooth set-up in the Blackberry and selecting "Connect".

As I stated, as long as BT is on the headset and then power on the cars BT it should auto connect.
