Default Thank you so much for the patch link

No one at Blackberry or PocketMac could help me. Blackberry had no idea, or denied, that the patch existed. And I didn't ever hear back from PocketMac anc it's been over a week. If it wasn't for you I would have had to go back to the treo because it would have done me no good to have a phone with no contacts capability.

They are working on the Up-To-Date patch as well. I was told it would be another few weeks. So, with any luck, by early february.

I have no idea why they aren't making this information public.

Hello,
I've been having exactly the same problems with Now Contact, and was not helped by Now Software or the PocketMac people. I tried to get the link to the patch, but get an error message that the page cannot be found. Anybody know if the patch is still available, and if so, where it is?
Thanks

I was told by Mark at PocketMac that the Up to Date patch would be released any day. When I asked to be notified when the patch was released (as I never saw anything outside of the forum about the Contact patch) they sent me a nonfunctioning link to the Now Contact patch.

When I sent back correspondence letting them know that it was the Now Up To Date patch that was I was interested in, not the Contact Patch, they told me to open up a tech support account.

I have to say, I am not very impressed with Pocketmac. I'm back to carrying my schedule around in my Palm Tungsten. Carrying two devices defeats the purpose of buying my Pearl in the first place. I hope that the Markspace software addresses these issues if Pocketmac continues to drop the ball.

Nope. It's been the most frustrating part of owning the pearl. Even though it's been the best phone I've owned. I switched to a Treo (palm os) to get back all my calendar functionality. PIM is more important to me than e-mail. The RIM calendar wasn't cutting it for me with iCal. It doesn't look like Markspace officially supports Now, either. I'll miss my Pearl, but I have to admit, using the Treo was like coming back home after 7 years as a Palm user.

bumpity bump bump

- did anyone get a hold of this elusive patch that PocketMac and RIM deny having?

The latest PocketMac seems to deny the existence of NOW installed on any Mac I try.

Default Anything new on this topic ??

I have recently "converted" from Palm to Pearl. Love the phone. Miss the Palm interface. Horrified at PocketMac SyncManager. It never did do my NowContacts. Now it has even stopped being able to find my phone ! What a disastrous app !

Oh well. I can still switch back to the Palm.

BE WARNED!!! At my work Mrs. Owner had all of her numbers scrambled and now I'm in the doghouse bigtime!!! pocketmac is the devil I only have a handful of macs on my domain. I hate PoketMac!!!! I would have backed it up but stupid Pocket MAC does not have a backup function like Blackberry desktop manager.
