Cingular is experiencing an outage in the Austin Tx area... No voice or data available... SOS only.

Ticket # TT000002903034 is open while they are trying to resolve. Their techs aren't giving any sort of ETA. It's been down about 40 minutes now.

I've been down in Atlanta as well. Went out just after 6:00PM. Mine affects data layer only though. Still have voice.

I've lost both Data and Voice... Still getting incoming calls intermittently even with the SOS Only notification still up. The cingular folks are saying it is a "Texas" outage... I wonder how far reaching it is.

"edge" - Data connection refused, in Atlanta. I have seen SOS a couple of times today.

The only two places I have heard having problems are Austin and Atlanta... Any issues elsewhere??

No problems here in Tyler, TX. I've been on the phone for the past hour and a half. I've got 3-4 bars on EDGE.

For anyone who doesn't know where Tyler is, which I'm sure is most of you, here is a TEXAS MAP that shows Tyler. It is pretty much right in the center of the page.
