I have recently bought a blackberry curve of a friend in which i put my payg sim in and it worked fine up until the ova day when it has been blocked i believe as i can't recive or send calls or txt's is there any way of getting it un blocked ???

What cell carrier? Who provides your cell service? Would they have blocked you?

Also, please update your profile to add the model number rather than the name (Curve). There are several all are a bit different. It is helpful to know that along with the carrier.

ahh orange and the sim works fine in another fone also it shows i have signal and service on the blackberry but it's not allowing in coming or out going calls or txt's.

I bet you dont have a blackberry Data plan or the pin is locked. lots of reasons the pin would be locked including being a stolen phone
