Hi all,

I have BB 9780 bold for about a month(OS6) and i'm having this problem from about 2 weeks or so.

what happens is that none of my contacts of the phonebook are shown/recognized on the display when I receive incoming calls, which is really annoying. Despite this, right after i miss the call, the name is shown on the missed call information.

by removing the battery and re-starting the phone it gets normal for the first calls but right after some usage (e-mail??) the problem gets back!

Any hints on this?

Do you have encryption turned on? The way you have described it it sound some like some process is slowing things down so the caller id can't function. If it isn't encryption ,perhaps something else is running in the background...
