Default Emails either coming to my blackberry OR on my account on the internet, not both!!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone,

I have a blackberry bold with t-mobile. Basically my problem is that half of the emails i receive come into my blackberry, and the other half come into my actual email account on the internet and no emails are on both!

Does anyone know what is causing this or how to solve it?

I have gmail and hotmail accounts configured to my blackberry and have no problems with them at all, the one im having problems with is my university account which is with Lotus Notes.

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!!
Matt

You need to have your email client set to "leave messages on server". What may be happening is your client is set to check for messages every XX number of minutes and then it deletes them before RIM's servers check for your email. The ones you see on your BB is the ones it grabbed before your client could delete them. That's why they appear in 2 different places.

You haven't said what sort of email you have. Is it a web mail account or a POP3 account with Outlook or Thunderbird or some other reader?

Yes, this is done on your computer for your actual email account.

I have a POP 3 e mail. If I leave e mails on server do I have to go into the server once in a while and delte the e mails or do they automaticly delte.

Thanks

D'oh! Hate when I do that!

OK, to clarify: are you using the native Notes/Domino client, Domino web mail, or some other third party mail reader accessing the Domino server?
