I use only these five functions on my phone on any regular basis: making calls, reading e-mail, looking up contacts, reading notes, and recording voice notes.

Is there a way to lock the menu down so that I do not inadvertently scroll from the All tab to Favorites or Frequent. It takes so little to scroll to the wrong place, especially when I am in a hurry. All I have to do is swipe my finger across to an icon on the other side of the current screen, and the next thing I know, I am in Favorites or Frequent instead of All, and then I am back to poking around to get back where I wanted to be.

I know I can hide menu items I do not want to see, but that does not solve this issue. What I need is a way to essentially lock it within the border containing the items I want.

Oh, how I miss my old BB 8330 L menu!
