I picked up a Pearl on Ebay last week.. GF saw it.. fell in love and demanded one for her.. knowing my 2yrs was up on Cingular.. I grabbed a refurb for her.. if she doesn't like it.. I can use it as a back up.. if she does.. I am out far less money. she doesn't use it like I do.. I have email.. contacts.. remote VNC to my home pc.. ect.. she just wanted Inet and Text/IM features.

One of the things I like is the Gmail to my Pearl.. so I was setting her's up and it tells me there is an acct for that PIN already.. called Cingular.. and they say it's released.. I say it's not because I can't setup the gmail.

whats my next course of action?

Anyone got an inside track to RIM or Cingular?
