Completed 2nd round about a year ago and after that it is really easy. I estimate I have gone through the levels about 75 times since then. I am starting to wear out my scroll wheel though because I am having a hard time passing the 250 lives mark.
The dreaded U of level 16 is extremely easy now and I can typically pass it on one life. Once I realized that (on all levels) the right wall has a different angle of reflection than the left wall it helped me in anticipating where the ball would go. Also on level 16 I realized that it is best to not have my paddle at the bottom of the shute on either side but instead have it somewhat under the U when the ball comes down because it has a better chance of going under the U than staying in the shute.
Is there a official list of high scores somewhere, and how do I submit my score to it?

On my 8310, Brick Breaker will reset if i pause the game and come back to it a few hours or days later. Is this normal?

On my 8700c I was able to work on it a little each day without the "auto" reset.

I currently have 414920 points. Once you finish it twice it gets easier. I saw the guy with over a million and I believe it. I guess I know who to chase.

NOTE TO ALL BRICKBREAKER ADDICTS:
Once you get over a million the game starts to break down. It says "Try Again" and you lose your current ball even though it isn't anywhere near the bottom of the grid. it progressively gets worse and eventually will lose your ball every time it hits the top of the grid. Although your "lives" count does not decrease when it does that, you get to a point where you can't hit any more bricks without hitting the top/ceiling and getting the nasty "Try Again".

The only thing you can do at that point is to close the game.

I guess the game-writers figure that once you get to that point, the game forfeits and it forces you to get out and start over.

I was at 1,184,285 points and 274 lives left when I had to shut it down. At one point I was at 305 lives left until it started that crap and I lost some lives trying to recover when it falsely lost my ball.

I am at 624,360 with 58 lives. Trying to keep the lives low so that I can easily die at around a million and be able to post the score.

So, how do you post scores? Every time I try, it tells me the password is invalid.
