Hidden Today Themes

I have just been given a Blackberry 8520 with a new job (after 3 blissful years being untethered) I have installed a Today them but things appear to have changed in the years since I last had a device.
Previously on a Today them an over view of the calendar was shown on the lock screen, now it appears when I roll over the calender icon. Is there away to get it back showing on the lock screen?
