There is not a counter in your native OS, and I don't know of one as a third party application.

If you have a plain 8300, that would leave you on AT&T. toi can call them using 611 from your phone. Thare maybe a number that you can call that just gives you the useage, but not per day. Customer service may be able to help. I remember on my sidekick there was a code to dial that have you the number of minutes and such used. I think it was like *665 or something like that. I'm sure you can find that online somewhere. If you have tmo, you have the 8320. 8330 is a sprint Verizon phone and you can dial *2 and get your use on sprint. And I'm unsure on Verizon. I believe the 8310 is on AT&T as well

To check on Verizon, we just dial #DATA and it sends a free txt message with my usage to me.

Perhaps check your carrier's website, however, I doubt that it would be any where close to near real time usage.

On AT&T use *DATA#, you will get two text messages with the information you are looking for

*Services | Wireless from AT&T, formerly Cingular

Have you tried calling...Fido?

I'm on TMO and I dial #MSG# and I get a message (not text, just a pop up window) saying how many I have used and how many I have remaining, but for the billing period.
