So after a short fall off my nightstand my 8900 has no more external audio:( Which means it doesnt ring. Not sure if it had anything to do with changing my bezel a couple of weeks ago. So basically i just hear a hissing sound coming from it when i play a song or speakerphone. I noticed that the speaker is one of the only parts to the large housing that goes around the unit, just it and the flash are on it. Any repair ideas? thinking of getting abroken one to swap the speaker housing out. Any suggestions would be appreciated-Thanks

if it was only after a short fall i would say it sounds like something is lose. did you open it up again and check to see if everything is connected correctly.

I did, the front has a couple of connectors for the speaker and flash which touch when you screw it back together. Possibly an alignment issue?
