Default .151 Cannot set ring tones/alerts

Please Login to Remove!

Finally went from .132 to .151 everything is peachy except I cannot select "set ring tones/alerts". It highlights but does not select. I cannot edit my custom profiles now either. I can set contact alerts but thats it. Any ideas?

I did search the forum so I hope this has not already been covered. Oh and yes I have done several pulls after loading the OS.

Sorry - I'm having no issues with .151. Ring tones/alerts can all be set normally. Seems much better than .148.

Sometimes it works if you reinstall the OS. It takes only 5 minutes. Others have had this issue with previous Storm OS, and a reinstall fixed things for them.

This is something I have wondered about too. When I had a Curve I was able to customize each of the existing profiles. I'm referring to the phone profiles(Normal, medium, loud, etc). However in the Storm, for example, I have the normal profile selected and then go to Set Ring Tones/Alerts and then select phone the volume level is 7. If I change it to loud profile and check the settings the volume level is still 7. Medium is the same way.

I did end up reinstalling the OS. I must have not been holding my tongue the correct way the first time.

Thanks for the help.
