You aren't going to play .wmv with the native software. I'm not aware of an aftermarket player and have never read of one, but I haven't really looked either. My thought would be to convert to a supported format. Doing a search on 'wmv mp3 converter conversion' should yield numerous hits, maybe even freeware.
