Are you on a BES? Is it from your company email, or personal email??

Are you on a corporate server? If so that server needs to be at 4.1.6 for HTML email.

If on BIS, have you enabled your HTML email? messages>options>email settings>enable HTML email (several options there)

I'm on 4.5 and also not able to see any HTML emails.

I am on BIS, and receive email from one Gmail account and 2 Gmail/domain-hosted accounts. Neither displays HTML emails.

Should I be seeing HTML-formatted emails? I definitely see them fine within my computer's browser. Thanks.

Yes, you should get html with Google. Try this sticky:

gaff! Sorry, I don't know how I missed that sticky!

The settings are enabled, just need to wait for an email to come in so I can check...

It doesn't work for messages already received, right?

Thanks JC.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry Curve 8320)

I have a BlackBerry® 8320 smartphone (EDGE, Wi-Fi v4.5.0.42 (Platform 2.7.0.60) on T-Mobile US. I can receive HTML emails but we are not yet able to compose them. To get them started after I upgraded to v4.5 I had to delete all my service books except "Provisioning" and have T-Mobile push the new books to the BlackBerry. There were several new books and quite a few updated ones. However I do have to click on download images once in a while to get them to load.

That's correct. You can receive html but you can't compose html. It doesn't work on old messages but only new ones. I, also, have to click on download images for each email.

Just noticed now that when I use get images (which I havent used in a while) that it didnt work. Went looking thru my Berry and found I had taken TCP/IP settings out a few weeks back as I was getting unexplained data usage on my bill. When I put the settings back in, it works again, so is it possible that the images do not download using blackberry apn?
