Question Odd sleep/standby mode behavior - no new messages

Please Login to Remove!

I have a user with a 9700 that for some reason like to go into a deep sleep mode. After leaving the handheld unattended or putting in the holster, it goes into standby/sleep (not sure which).

When this occurs, he stops receiving new messages entirely. To start receiving them again, he either has to cycle the network off/on or turn the power off/on. Then messages start flooding in.

Is there a way to stop this behavior? Thanks.
