is there a way to set up my blackberry 8700c to be a gps device with directions and everythign? what kind fo thing do i need to purchase as an add on??

YOu need to buy a GPS Bluetooth receiver, I've purchased from Semsons but can't recommend a brand to work with the 8700 as I haven't used one. You'll also need software like TeleNav or BB Maps, the latter for very basic navigation (interface is basic, no voice, no poi). Not sure how either work on the 8700 so do a search.

I use a BT-359 GPS Bluetooth receiver and TeleNav on my VZW 8703e. Combination works very well.
