I am a long-time Verizon happy customer and love my 8830-in fact I live in Florida and am using it in London this week and it works perfectly. I am scheduled for a trade up and was wondering if I get the Storm when I get home and don't like it can I return it to the Verizon store and just switch back to my 8830 without any charges? And if so, how long can I use the Storm before returning it?

You will have 30 days to try out the Storm.

Not sure about VZW, but with other companies within the 30 trial period you can return the phone and go back without a contract.

You may return any or all of your merchandise for any reason within 30 days of purchase.

The original customer receipt must accompany all returns."

I'm sure you could switch back to your 8830 with no problems if you don't like the Storm. I had the 8830 also but sold mine in one day when I heard the Storm was coming Nov.21
