Go into the camera app. It doesn't all but lock up when you go between portrait and landscape now!

Oh OK this is great, so the next update should iron out the rest of the lag issues, and bugs and performance issues the storm still has. when i bought the phone i thought it was going to be a fast device.

delete VVM, VZNav, and Documents to go and you'll free up a lot of memory...currently have 50+ mb of available memory

Does it do anything at all for battery life as that is the biggest problem these things have?

I have 55 meg free and haven't deleted any of those so you must have something else going on there.

2 changes specifically i noticed after updating

1. System has became more faster and better as far as clicking wise.
2. Touch Screen Sensitivity has become more and is working perfectly.

Rest i have to play more with it so i will keep u updated but i think more updates will make this device more lovable and great and yes this is the daym iPhone Killer !!

Can I use this Beta with the 9500 Storm, too?

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

This is all good to here. Maybe this BIS user will jump into the Storm when this OS becomes available to him.

It's "supposed" to be tomorrow. See no reason why they wouldn't now. lol

accelerometer lagtime from vertical to horizontal is lagless. however horizontal to vertical lagtime is still there but greatly reduced. from what used to takes seconds now takes a little more than half a second

This problem along with others is completely device specific. Some people have no lag while others have some. Just depends. Regardless, it's a good update.
