Default Problem signing-in to Yahoo email account

Please Login to Remove!

I use a Blackberry 9700.
I can access my Yahoo and get to the login page. The problem is when I try to type-in my Username and Password in the space provided (on yahoo log-in page), nothing happens. I click the 9700 trackpad several times in order to prompt me to type-in my details, but nothing happens. What can I do to fix this issue?

Works for me. I tried even a bad login name and password. I received a retry message.
I did notice moving the cursor required it to be right on top of the sign in square. hitting the enter key did not seem to work.

You're talking about the Yahoo mobile site?

Are you able to enter text in fields on other web pages, or is it just the Yahoo page?

Have you tried a hard rest (battery pull)?

aiharkness, I think Yahoo loads to a cell phone display and the login is on the bottom. I did notice the movement of the cursor if not on the login block does nothing. I tried different things and thats all I noticed. I was able to login for email once i hit the right spot. Maybe the OP will let us know.

You're right. That's why I asked if OP has problems just on Yahoo. User says he/she is navigating to the login screen. Once there it isn't really any different than other login screens. As you say, you have to click inside the text box and make the cursor appear, which sounds like what the OP is doing, except the cursor doesn't appear. Doesn't make sense. (And when things don't make sense? Do a hard reset.)

But as I'm posting, another thought occurs...If clicking on the text box doesn't cause the cursor to appear, zoon in so that text box is large enough to be sure you are clicking inside the box.

Good idea, maybe the OP will see your suggestion and give it a try
