Hi, my blackberry fell into water yesterday.. after i tried drying it up I plugged it back in today. My battery was completely dead when it got wet, so I put it to charge. The yellow light flashed but when I pressed the "ON" button the screen had colored lines as well as blue borders and a white square in the middle. Is my cellphone completely destroyed or is it just the screen? Can it be saved?

How long did you let it dry out??? I would have recommended using a paper towel immediately and allowing the phone to dry out 3 days! Sometimes a blow dryer can help to dry out all the nooks and crannies!!!

However, if you did not allow it to dry out completely and tried to use it, it is probably ruined!!!

If you have phone insurance, you may want to go ahead and file an insurance claim. I don't know about other carriers, but AT&T can usually get you a phone in 3 days time at the most!!!

OP says BlackBerry went in the drink yesterday. OP is posting today. Says plugged it in today. How long OP dried it is answered in OP.

And three days would likely not long enough, either, by most accounts.
