Default How does the blackberry handle signatures?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

How does the blackberry (or it may be the BES) handle signatures?

I would like to understand how the BES/Blackberry handles signatures.

The system is adding the Blackberry signature, then it is adding the Corporate signature - it may be from a mail sweeper programme.

We are running BES 5, Lotus Notes/Domino 7.02 and Mime Sweeper ?? (I have no visibility of this).

Basically I need a tutorial in the signatures, if you can help, I'd be very thankfull.

Thanks

Default Re: How does the blackberry handle signatures?

Basically signatures from the BlackBerry/BES will come before signature from mail environment.

BES will compose the base e-mail (To, FROM, CC, BCC, Body, Signature if there is one) then drops it into mail.box for Domino to route. At this point if Domino says to add signature Domino will do so.

So if you specified a signature in BlackBerry and Domino says to add a signature (say legal disclaimer) the message will have both.
