Default Being charged for Data Usage when Phone resets!

Please Login to Remove!

I'm on EE PAYG and pay £5 a month for the Blackberry Internet Service on my Bold 9700. All is fine when I am using the Internet on my Mobile but as soon as the Phone resets (eg when loading an App or a Software update) I am charged 65p for Data Usage - a small amount I know but irritating. Any ideas anyone?

Ensure the APN is disabled in TCP options.

I currently have APN Settings Checked (="Enabled") and the APN shown as "blackberry.net" is that what you suggest I change or ist it "APN Authentication Enabled" which is currently Unchecked?

Either way, thanks for taking the trouble to respond!

Try unchecking the APN enabled box.

getting an apps or software onto phones through it would count as data usage that's why you're being charge..
