BBLight Issues

So after having 4.5 for years now, I decided to downgrade all the way back to 4.2.1.1.07 on my T-Mobile 8100 and everything is good so far except that BBLight 1.95 doesn't seem to work. I had no problems with it on 4.5 but now I'm starting to have issues, as in the backlight eventually turning off with the BB locking itself. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I have the current settings checked: Activate on startup, always on when user is active, out of holster, external power/charging, and never open email application. I also have it activated and tried exiting and closing (as well as saving) from the program to try to get it to work but to no avail also...Your help would be greatly appreciated.
