Mine shows as being 115kps?? Just what it says when connected. Never tested the speed though.

115Kps is the throughput rate ..in other words, the rate the data can travel from your 7100t to your computer (its actually probably faster),but your data rate from the Tmobile network to your laptop is gonna vary, but it aint fast..I dont even bother using it..
