Unheard of in the Middle East - do you mean CompuME? Or some other store? Thanks!

CompuME, provided the unit is still in perfect condition and the packaging is still there and sellable. You gotta know how to talk and ask the sales man about the refund policy and take his name.
But if I were you, I wouldn't even get a Torch to start with.
You will never want to return a 9780 :D

Re: 9780 vs 9800
Only way I could try a Torch was paying full retail ($700 CAD) a week ago, returned it the next day, put OS6 on my 9700 and loved it. Then my bro gave me his Torch to sell for him so I toyed with the idea of keeping it (for cheap) but after another day I couldn't wait to get rid of it. Just too big, busy, and not-ready-for-primetime. The OS needs a bunch of cleaning up and fine tuning, and the virtual keyboard is unusable (and I love my iphone virtual kb). Strangely enough, I find OS6 on the 9700 is better than its intended host the 9800...get rid of all the touch stuff and it's a champ!

Very well said!
I would take a 9700 with OS 6 on it over a 9800 any time of the day.

lets trade phones then lol.
i find os6 a waste of time on a non touch screen device. its overly complicated but not when ur using a touchscreen device though the fact that the left side convenience key is gone, i cannot get over that. How do u use ur phone? lol. I have app switcher there and i use it nonstop as i have multiple apps running all the time. Maybe i'd get used to it or i'd figure out a way around it but...i don't know. that's wierd.

Re: 9780 vs 9800
I love my torch and the virtual keyboard is just fine for me (although not preferable over the physical QWERTY). I even find myself using the virtual number more often when dialing. It's a pleasure to have the numbers nice and big and tabbed options for the call log and contacts.
The Torch does everything that the Iphone, 9780, and most Android devices do. And, yes the battery life is shorter but that's because the screen is bigger. At the same time, the battery life is still better than the Iphone and is still removable. For that screen real estate, I'm happy with the compromise.
As well, having the convenience of the trackpad in conjunction with the touch was an unexpected but much appreciated convenience.
I'm keeping my Torch.

I would take even a Curve with a REALY keyboard any time of the day over that huge, bulky, less convenience keys, crapy battery, crappy flat keyboard of the Torch! heh

I really detest that word "niggles". Where the frak does it come from - slang wise it must have a base. I'm aware of it being scandinavian roots back in 1610 from nigla but I still detest it.

That is more of a personal choice. Nice is first at first glance, but for long term, I would personally get the black.
I cannot picture in my mind a BLACKBerry other than BLACK ;) It's just me, to each his own.

Re: 9780 vs 9800
Only one thins that i like in torch is that i have english only keyboard, and if i need to type in turkish or russian i just switch on virtual keyboard and i can type any other language,
i would say this is only useful part of touchscreen for me personally.
