Default How to use ArrayList,List,File...etc in Blackberry

hi...i m developing a blackberry application where i want to use a dynamic array type of think....instead of creating a dynamic array i tried to use ArrayList,List
or some other classes in java Collection API.....but during compilation of program it is showing " File not found error........means blackberry is not detacting ArrayList or List classes .............how can i use these classes...........do i have to import any .jar file(if then where to get this jar files) ....or is there any Api like ArrayList /List in rim api.......

you can only use collection types or other classes found within the blackberry's java class reference. this is for OS version 4.2

there are other types of collection classes available there, hashtable, vectors, etc

Use BigVector -- it's the more reliable of the available collection classes, and should suit your needs. Prior to building our in-house proprietary collection classes, we used BigVector almost exclusively.
