Default "there is no default server specified on the MDS."

I am having an issue with several blackberrys that when you try to retrieve a certificate for S/MIME the blackberry reports there is no default server specified on the MDS. The certs are Verisign in most cases. We do have a Blackberry Enterprise Server, and it is the latest version as of the time of this post. Any assistance in this issue would be greatly appreciated.
