hey guys, quick question, how good is the headphone audio quality on these, can it be compared to an iriver/ ipod?

Isn't this really more dependent on the earphones than the player? I just bought a Curve and thought the stock earphones were garbage, but it sounds awesome with Etymotic Research ER6 Isolator In-Ear Earphones.

My sound is good but it skips so bad when jogging or riding on a bike that it is completely unlistenable. I had hoped to be able to get rid of my iTouch but it doesn't look like that will happen now.

A BlackBerry's MP3 playback should not skip due to jogging or riding.

It's solid state (flash memory) that cannot skip unless the MP3 files have corruption or there is another application taking up too many processor cycles causing the player to hiccup.

Mine skips like mad when I'm riding the motorcycle. And it seems to be speed sensitive: More skipping at freeway speeds, much much less stuck in traffic. But no skipping on the train.

It also seems to skip when I hit the microphone on the supplied headset. I wonder if there is a correlation.
