Hi, I have a small Facebook icon with a "1" next to it on my email page, to the left of the icon showing how many unopened emails I have. There are no emails from facebook.

My issue is that I can't figure out how to get rid of the facebook icon. Any help would be apprecaited.

go into the Facebook app, and then to notifications.
read the notification and the icon will go away.

Thanks MD! I tried that on the BB and it didn't work. Any other thoguhts? It is really frustrating because it seems as though it shuold be such an easy fix.

Are you sure it's a facebook icon?

Have you tried a battery pull?

If you go into your Facebook app > Notifications and press U, does it take you to a messages? or Press T, then press the Menu Key and select Mark Prior Open. Does either of those clear it up?

Thanks JS. It is definitely a facebook icon. I tried the suggestions...nothing.....I appreciate the help!!

It definitely looks like there is 1 message waitign but I can't figure out wheer. It isn't in my normal BB email......

Hi, I don't knwo what happened, but the facebook incon is gone. I didn't do anythign unusual, as I normally leave my BB on at all times, but this mornign when I went on that icon was gone. Maybe it was a delay from when I remvoed the battery...who knows. Thanks for all your assistance!
