That's interesting. I've been having the same issue doing a backup. I can sync just fine, app loader just fine, but when I go to do a backup. Mine "errors out" every time around the address book data backup. I'll delete PI and see if that changes.

We have a long list of feature requests we plan to update for future revisions. You can feel free to put any you have in FogBugz.

My backup worked after I deleted PI. It's a nice program
but being able to back up my bb is more important.

This is my first experience with PI, and I've been working with it for a few days now.

I can honestly say that I've found the app I've been looking for!

I hid the PI Alerts icon because it was locking up whenever I chose it......and I can't really figure out what it's for anyway. Other than that, I can't think of anything negative.

The only thing I'd like to see is a hot key to jump directly to email and another to minimize(I have esc set to go back a screen)...but I can live without that.

Great Job....can't wait for the full release!

I recently posted a question concerning my belief that in the month view when there's 4 or more tasks/events there doesn't appear to be any way to jump from the "day box" within the month to the the task/event view below the month to be able to navigate to up/down to see more.

For those who had the same question, I figured it out (much better): in Options, events, month view, choose under "on action button push: Move focus to events area.

I, too, had to delete it to do a backup.

There is no need to delete PI to perform a backup.
i.e. DM > Backup and Restore > Advanced > Select everything except PI
...works for me ;)

Is there a list of "open" bugs/issues?? (wo having to register on yet another website)

The current beta that I'm using says it'll expire on September 1st. What happens after that? Will there be another that we can use? Will we have access to the program beta or otherwise right up to the time the final product is released for sale?

I'm liking the program quite a bit, and with daily use will be getting accustomed to it. Quite the bummer if suddenly it's all over.....

CSO - expect PI to be released for the BB during the month of August. You would need to purchase it and get a license. The license will then be entered in the about screen. There is no entry for a license now, but it will be added in a future release.

Tried this last night as well. Problem eliminated (kind of). This is only a work around though, and I wonder why Pi is causing the sync routine to crash.

Excellent. I hope it works out as you say.

I agree it is a workaround... and am very surprised that this made it through the private beta (as well as a couple of other things) to this "preview release".

This problem never came up during the private beta. Must be something specific to the preview release?

Part of the problem MAY be 4.5 betas on peoples BBs. I have the beta on my 8330 and that could definitely be a factor, but I would think that they may have been able to have access to the betas as well but that may also be assuming too much on my part.

I can say for a fact that PI was tested under 4.5, including Sprint 8830 device.
