Default My Curve Is Doing Something Reall Weird. Help Please!

Please Login to Remove!

hey guys, i have a curve for verizon and my phone was in my pocket at work. i checked it around 2am n it was fine. i didnt get it wet and it wasnt crushed. when i got off work my screen wouldnt light up. the keys wouldnt do anything. i went home and plugged it in to my charger thinking my fone was dead but i had almost full battery. my screen lights back up but again i cant use my keys. the trackball scrolls up and down the menu but i wont let me select anything. once it goes on standby again the screen wont light up until its plugged in. ive tried software updates. didnt work and i just downloaded the latest version. ive also tried taking the battery out for a few minutes n putting it back it. the phone turns on so obviously the keyboard isnt dead. none of the other buttons are working. is there a setting that it accidently went on in my pocket? please help!

People have reported problems from moisture just from sweaty pockets. Is that possible in your case?

You say you did a software update? Exactly what did you try? You might try wiping with JL_CMDER and then reinstalling the OS if you didn't already do that.

Remove the batter and check the moisture damage indicator.

I have had a lot of wierd things happen to my BB's. Is it possible that your BB simply crashed? I go through extensive things to keep my BB form crashing: like the address book for one example; it actually helps to use the preloaded icons you can find in the media file in the place of the contacts that you don't have a picture of. Go to the media file and select explore and look for pictures then choose preloaded and check the icons and fill in the blanks. I have other wierd things that I can advise you on but that's just me :p message me if you'd like to hear 'em

Default actually I got that wrong

Go media>menu>explore>device memory>samples>contacts...to find the icons. It will help to choose -view thumbnails in the menu. Things like this do actually work...pesky BB's lol
