Default Strange email issue (Gmail)

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I recently got my handset replaced due to a trackball issue. Upon receiving my new handset, I connected it to my computer and fired up Desktop Manager, which immediately recognized that this was a new phone and setup my corporate email. I then went ahead and restored all my old emails from my backup and also setup my gmail a/c.

However, I now have a weird issue. I have three email folders on my phone,

1. Corp Email
2. Gmail
3. Messages

This has always been the case, but what's strange now is, when I get an email on my gmail a/c, a notification shows up on the "Gmail" folder, but when I click on it there's nothing there and the notification disappears. Instead, when I go into the "Messages" folder which is sort of like the catch-all, its there. What is stranger is, this doesn't happen with all my gmail emails.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I never had this issue before and its annoying me to no end! Any and all help would be most appreciated!

Wow, 126 views and not a single response!

I just noticed that all emails coming into my gmail inbox, make it to the right folder on my blackberry, the ones that are being directed to labels go to the "Messages" folder. I've never had this issue before!

Might want to try re-installing the Gmail plugin, from blackberry.com/gmail

Also you posted in the 96xx series forum, but your profile says 8703e, please update your profile if you have a newer device.

If you have a device running OS 5.0, you go into your messages folder, hit the menu key and choose options. From their choose Inbox settings and select the accounts you want to view from the messages folder, if you want to change those.

I had a similar issue, go to (BlackBerry Internet Service) login and re-save your profile (You donxxx8217;t have to change anything) that work for me.
