Ok, I'm new to BB's. In fact, my BB Curve 8310 won't even be here till Friday. Anyway, was wondering if there is a special memory card that has to be used with the BB or if it's any memory card, such as the same one used for a camera?

Can someone suggest a brand or will any cheap card work?

I've read that you want to put all music, photos, etc. on the memory card (except apps) to free up the device's memory. If I put photo's and music on the device's memory, can I 'transfer' them to the memory card?

When it comes to memory cards I tend to stick with brands I know and trust. However any micro sd should work

I use a 8gb sandisk card, and yes you can put pics and music on the device memory and then transfer them to the micro sd card

Thanks, I'll try to get a good brand. They are usually on sale somewhere.
