My call history log completly disapeared and does so every now and then. Is there a setting somewhere where I can change it to keep my call history log in memory?

It used to keep my call log (you know when you push the talk button, brings up a list), now it doesnt. The list is gone.

Maybe the "call log" setting/option got changed?

Press <call> key [the green phone]

Press <menu> key

Press <Options>

Press <general options>

Scroll to <Phone List View>

Make sure or select <call log>

Press <escape> and save setting.

It was set just like you said already. It's wierd that the log disapears...annyoing too.

So it's not working? Or did you have to reset the call log setting and now it's working?

If it is not fixed:

Are other settings disappearing?

One thing, just a shot, since the SIM card has address book functions [one can keep phone number contacts on the SIM], maybe the SIM is not fully seated. Probably not the issue, but you never know. So reseat the SIM.

And I am not aware, but maybe there is some other setting elsewhere on the Pearl that says to "wipe history" and that is also getting rid of the call log?

Also check your message settings. Make sure you have it set to keep for ever. Also the BB will start deleting stuff if you run out of memory so make sure that's not the problem.
