No, it must be how your BB was configured, Mine's fine. Did you setup the HTML option in your e-mail options?

That's what I do. I upgrade to the latest before doing anything else.

Side benefit to upgrading to Os 6.0:
My companies corporate IT policy forbids me to download apps whatsoever. It sucks. Not even google maps.

However, I upgraded to 6.0 a little while ago and now that restriction has been lifted and I am still on the companies exchange! Haha take that corporate It policy.

Until they figure out you circumvented corporate policy. At some places, that is a fireable offense.

I think it will be safe to delete the TMO theme file (.cod ) before start the install. That way we dont run into the white screen.

Yes, its safe. However, in .380 and higher that issue has been fixed. No need to delete that file.

Ok - so here's an interesting one --

In the BBM contact list...my cursor got stuck on a group at the bottom of the page. I could scroll the page perfectly - but no cursor (stuck at bottom of page on group). Click the trackpad, and nothing.

Click it while the group was displayed and the group would open...

After that, I got my cursor back. .380 and have never had this happen before, or since.

How many people have installed this OS and have had no problems? My Bold is beginning to show the following issues:

1) Slightly lag and freeze.
2) Display multiple copies of the same app when I go to move them, or not move at all.

Thanks for any input and feedback.

I've been running this release for about 10 days. I've found that when drafting a BlackBerry Messenger mgs, on the third line the screen wrap is off until I go to the 4th line. Difficult to explain, but having used BlackBerry Messenger for years I can definitely say its not normal. Also I'm having some problems searching Gmail. Gmail hasn't been updated beyond 2.0.7, but it too is behaving differently than with OS5

There are rarely ever release notes. RIM provides them to the carriers but the carriers almost never provide them to their customers.

do you mean as you type you cannot see what your typing because the lines don't move up? That is a issue with my .285 as well. Waiting for some better versions.

Nope.
You need an OS file for the 9780 which has "EastAsia" or "Asia" in the file name.

Quick question, what happens to third party apps and other stuff? Does this thing do a clean install or does it back up the same thing Desktop Manager does or does it do a real backup (full dump of non os stuff)?

I am asking because BBSAK refuses to connect and I don't quite know how to make a disk image of the phone for a true backup.

thanks in advance
