I am trying to do a migration from one server to another. I began by following the steps on the blackberry site and then I ran into an issue. I was attempting to back up the database when I noticed that my blackberry hadn't received an email which I saw come into my inbox.

I tried to open up the blackberry manager and was prompted for a login. I tried to retrace my steps but 90% of the things I did were to the second server.

I had just finished adding the permissions for the besadmin onto the new server. I remembered I added them to have the ability to send/receive as others, log on locally, log on as a service and a few other things.

But I can't for the life of me figure out why the server would stop sending emails. I did a restart and it took quite a while for the server to apply some new settings before I could log in.

I used a regedit to prevent the password prompt from happening whenever I tried to open up blackberry manager.

I am seeing under every user profile that there are messages beginning to pile up under "pending".

Is there some place I can go to get these pending items out? Any help would be appreciated. Right now I am just going through the steps again.

What is your database type in this server?I think there is a dataabase corruption somewhere.

Perms or corruption. I am a little confused from your OP as to what state each server is in right now but if you are back on OLDBES make sure services are stopped on NEWBES.

I would forget NEWBES for now and see what has changed on OLDBES. You are doing all this as besadmin aren't you?

Can we have some versions and mail server info pls.....
