Question Wrong Time

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, eversince I came back from England my BB7100t with Cingular has been reporting the wrong time under "Network Time". I am in cental time zone, but Network Time reports 6 hours behind the actual time. I have the "Auto Time Set" ON. I rebooted and removed the battary several times... Do you know how to fix this issue?

As far as I know, you have to change the time zone manually. Go to Settings > Options > Date/Time.

When I first got my BB back in March, the network time was correct, matched up with what the clock said. Since daylight savings, network time is 'off', looking like it jumped two hours ahead, not just one. At 10:00AM Central time here in Dallas my BB says network time is 11:00AM.

Yes, I have requested time. I even had to reinstalled the O/S since the phone reported one of those fatal JVM errors... The network time is constantly 6 hours off while the phone is showing Central Time.
You would think BB would have a tech support to help customers who pay top $$ for their devices!!!!
