Hi,

The wireless activation process is well documented, but I'm having trouble finding info on how the wired process works.

Can anyone explain the process(es) behind a wired activation? i.e Desktop manager makes a TCP connection to the BES blah blah blah.

pretty much the same way, except desktop manager makes a connection to port 4101 on the BlackBerry Router.

The only change is the medium (wired versus wireless) and no Enterprise Activation email is sent, but rather the Enterprise Activation happens successfully as the user is authenticated.
