You will find that eBay does little to police it's site, even if you report it!

The most you will get is a nice canned email message that may or may not have something to do with your reported problem. eBay is somewhat out of control.

At first I thought some of the pictures looked odd but then I realized that it was the back without the cover....doh!

Still wouldn't but it for $1975.00 though...that's crazy!

kijiji forces you to select an area of canada that you are interested in looking at ads from. what area of canada are you speaking about?

I hope whomever purchases it is smart enough NOT to activate on BIS/BES until launch. Otherwise their device is gonna get roasted by RIM. (Assuming its a preproduction/seed device)

Those sellers may or may not have actual devices. I find it very hard to believe that spending $2000 is worth it on a device that may cost you half that full retail in a couple weeks, but i guess those that want it will always pay the money for it.

You really think that the Bold is going to be 1000 dollars retail when it comes out?? There is no way that the Bold will be anywhere near that when it comes out for AT&T. If it comes even close to that Apple will be getting a lot of new customers and both RIM and AT&T know that. My predictions are 299 with an upgrade(2yr contract renewal) and 599 no contract. AT&T has to make the pricing somewhere near the iPhone since they are plugging the Bold as an iPhone competitor.

no. no one thinks its going to be $1000 when it comes out. which is why we're commenting on the pure idiocy of the bids lol. but i guess to each his own.

Why dont any of these production models have a box? Does rim ship them in a ziplocked bag before release or what? lol or do they not waste their money on beautiful boxes for pre-release models?

He was just making a passing comment. Kind of like when your wife/parent/girlfriend/spouse/etc says "For the millionth time! I'm not your maid!"
