I would assume so via a today theme of some sorts. The appts would sync to the device in some manner (OTA or Outlook) and show up on your screen.

As for the thread topic, if anyone knows of anything out there that will allow me to sync multiple google calendars and allow me to add to any of them from my device (as well as from the PC), please PM or reply and let me know. Very interested in this!

THis is new on the Google calendar website, it used to be just sync with one calendar:

Google Sync (BlackBerry Devices): FeaturesPrint
Google Sync has a number of features. Below is a non-exhaustive list of highlights:

Seamless integration with BlackBerry's built-in calendar, accessible from the calendar menu
Automatic background synchronization without any complicated settings, as well as manual "Sync Now" option
Support for synchronizing multiple Google calendars with the handheld device
Secure network transfer using SSL. Your password is not stored on the BlackBerry

Google Sync (BlackBerry Devices) : Features - Mobile Help Center

I do not know yet if you can make changes or add appointments to multiple calendars though. I am going to try it out.

Here is what I found:

Added test appointment on my wife's calendar on Google.
THis showed up on my calendar on Google (nothing new)
This showed up on my BB after next sync (this is new)

I cannot make a new event on the BB and put it anywhere except on my calendar but just having my wife's events on my BB is good as a first step.

Someone else chime in if you get other options to work

Yep, this is the main issue. Google Sync has problems managing multiple Google Calendars, and associating them with the correct one on the BB end - even though the events are specifice by calendar.

But it is a step in the right direction. Being able to see other calendars on the BB is a nice improvement. My wife can view my calander on BB and vise versa. Baby steps....baby steps

GooSync will get you what you are after, multiple calendars cost though. I splurged already for this, works great. If and when Google gets it together, hopefully I can switch back!

Default assistance

So I just switched out my 8830 (malfunctioning headset socket) to an 8830 Curve -- so far the transition has been fairly smooth... except this multiple calendar issue. So I have 4 email accounts being pushed to my BB, but I only want/need one calendar -- the calendar that syncs with my PC's Outlook. Instead I'm getting duplicate, triplicate, and sometimes quadruple identical calendar entries in my BB for the same item. How do I get rid of the superfluous/reduntant calendars?

Thanks very much gentlemen

Default thanks!

Found my answer on another thread:

Workaround

Clear and restore the calendar data on the BlackBerry smartphone.

1. Using BlackBerry Desktop Manager, back up the BlackBerry smartphone calendar data. For instructions, see KB11297.
2. Using BlackBerry Desktop Manager clear the BlackBerry smartphone calendar database. For instructions, see KB05340.
3. Manually delete all but one BlackBerry Internet Service [CICAL] service books, by completing the following steps:
* On the BlackBerry smartphone, go to Options > Advanced Options > Service Book.
* Delete all but one BlackBerry Internet Service [CICAL] service books. Eeach integration will have an integration named service book, such as <BlackBerry Internet Service integration_name>[CICAL].
4. Perform a hard reset of the BlackBerry smartphone. For instructions, see KB02141.
5. Restore the calendar data to the BlackBerry smartphone. For instructions, see KB10339.

ApacheIndina,

I am having similar issues with my Bold. I just noticed that my BB calendar was not syncing with Outlook. Really don't know how long this has been going on but it looks to be pretty recent.
I followed your outline above but still no syncing.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks

Splurge for GooSync Pro. Pricey, but does what it says and does it well and does what Google Sync for BB is suppose to do. GooSync Home Page

I'm not trying to sync a Google calendar. I'm just trying to sync my Bold with Outlook.
