There was an article in a german news web site a few days ago. This is the link to the Google Translation. The article states that the device will be launched for Vodafone and T-Mobile.

Yes, if it is T-Mobile Germany it should be no problem. But you will need to accept the QWERTZ keyboard. You will also need to take care that you get the Enterprise variant and not the Prosumer variant. The Prosumer variant from T-Mobile Germany will only work with a SIM card and BB service from T-Mobile Germany.

I'm not saying you're a liar or trying to step on any toes or anything but YOU are the writer of this "post" in this Canada blog right?

T-Mobile's White Pearl already came out?

And the post seems to lead me to believe that the White Pearl will be available in February and the 8800 will be "unveiled" (as in shown, not released to the carrier).

Again I might be wrong and I'm not trying to offend anyone

nah, you're not offending anyone. send the person an email. seems like they've got an inside track somewhere. makes sense though that RIM would announce at a trade show, but when I went on the tradeshow's website, maybe I missed something but RIM is not listed as an exhibitor.

Everyone needs to remain calm. I can't find that RIM has much to do in this expo. Not even listed. BUT, the main thing is what is happening in Spain has little to do with what is going on in the USA. Sounds like RIM is just releasing some info about the 8800 to counter the iPhone. Looks like they have only acknowledged it exists and not much more.
