I'm sure I'm not the only one this happens to, but when I'm on a call and I hold the phone between my shoulder and my ear, my face pushes buttons like mute or hold.
Is there any way to lock the phone call screen so my face won't push buttons? I've tried searching around on the Internet and haven't found anything.

I think I figured it out. Ha ha, of course after I posted this I thought of another way to word my question and found a forum that mentioned proximity sensors.
Turns out I need to hold the phone on my right side. Guess the sensor is only on one side!

I have encountered this too - so you say we need to hold our Torch in the other hand? Surely is there not an automatic blocking of those keys? I seem to be constantly pressing numbers as I speak

Well my screen turns off when I use (hand hold) the phone, I believe there to be a proximity sensor that turns the screen off and back on when the call is complete. (No I haven't read the manual yet).

Therefore I'm guessing your noggin is too far away from the BB to trigger said sensor ....... Why not use a bluetooth headset if this is an issue? Holding your head like that is not healthy over a long period of time.
