Default BlackBerry Screen Shot

Please Login to Remove!

Hello guys, i'm having trouble finding the application for capturing screen shots. I can't download BBScreenShooter because it can only be supported by Windows because its an exe file (If i'm wrong please let me know), and I found this application called CaptureIt, but I don't like how it works (it's an app that you have to set one of your side keys to to take the current screen). Do you guys know any other applications for capturing screen shots? If my assumption for the two apps are wrong could you guys please help me out?

Thanks

QuickLaunch can do this - just not sure if it's Tour compatible yet?

Try making the left convenience key a shortcut to Capture it, hopefully it will work since you won't have to push the menu key.

There is a keyboard shortcut for BBM, it is the letter N. Of course you have to have "dial from homescreen" disabled in the call menu but speed dial still works, you just have to hold the letter down for a couple seconds until it starts to dial. If you learn to use the shortcut then you can free up your left convenience key for CaptureIt. I don't know any other way to get it to work without using the menu button which takes the device out of standby mode. You could also reassign the camera key.

I just tried CaptureIt with my convenience key and it's not being responsive. It was a bit laggy on my 8330 but it's even worse on my 9630 we might have to look for a different screen capture app.

Update: I've come to the conclusion that on my device it's not an issue with app compatibility but more an issue with button sensitivity. :(

Default Screen shot native application

My daughter says there is an undocumented native screen shot application she uses now on her Tour, and formerly on her Pearl. She accesses it with a shortcut application she picked up for a small fee. I haven't figured out how to do find it though, and wasn't otherwise interested in the shortcut application.

Anyone know of the native screen shot program or how to access it?

QuickLaunch has a screen shot feature. I believe the software is $4.99 - I've been using this app, just never needed the screen shot feature since I'm using CaptureIt.
