[Zerocontrast]

My Torch (originally AT&T version) is still running on .246 at the moment, but a few days ago I plugged it into DM and updated the core files (not to .526 yet), as it often offers to. Now I have noticed that my ringtones and alarms play at a lower quality than they did before.

My first thought was that my speakers were damaged and affecting the sound quality, but when I play music and even my ringtones in the media player the quality is as fine as ever. However the same ringtones, when played automatically either as an alarm or ringtone have a noticeably lower quality.

Am I the only one that has had this happen? Does anyone know how to fix this?

(Obviously upgrading to .526 may do the trick, but that should not be my only option.)

It seems to have straightened itself out. I think a simple pull got it, but if anyone happens to see this and knows what may cause that, I'd still be interested to hear.
