I have had a couple of instances where I needed to backup and restore my 8900 recently (upgrade to 822, then replacment handset)

In both instances the restore didn't bring the unit back to the previous state. Most importantly email was missing, but also the wallpaper was not updated, etc.

I have used this function several times in the past with 100% success, though this was with older versions of Desktop Manager (4.7, 5, etc)

Has anyone else seen any issues with DM6 and 8900?
I'm thinking of pulling it off and going back to v5....
